2 ) Heavy-duty gauge roll development work for corn flour
type products. Standard rolls incorporate water cooling, pre-loaded
bearings and large journals.
3 ) Multiple roll systems to create a gentler gauging action.
Unit multi-gauge roll machines can offer process gains for
a smaller foot print area. Pairs of gauge rolls are more advantageous
than re-circulating multiple roll systems. They overcome the
speed disparage as the sheet reduces in thickness over the
gauging length.
